BORGHI INDIA PROMOTION CAMPAIGN AT RAJKOT
BORGHI INDIA initiated a Cleanliness Campaign in Rajkot once again on the Topic of “AAJ BRUSH SE SAFAI KI KYA” meaning “HAVE YOU CLEANED YOUR SURROUNDINGS USING A BRUSH?”. Under the Campaign we held a Drawing & Essay Competition in various schools in Rajkot. Students from 60 Schools participated in this event. The students were given two options which is either to write an Essay or express the same thru a Drawing.
From the submission collected, each school shortlisted 3 students in Essay Writing from their Participants and similarly 3 Students were selected in Drawing Competition. A total of 180 papers in Essay writing were sent to Mr. Vinod Pandaya, Eco Club, District Coordinator, Rajkot and the 180 drawings were sent to Mr. Barot Bhagirath, Art Teacher, Creative Child Painting Developer to judge the same. The First, Second and Third Winners in each Category were awarded a Trophy + Medal + Certificate + a Gift Hamper containing an Assortment of Brushes.

During the event we also created a Human Mosaic at the Open-Air Theater at Balbhavan wherein 950 students made a Human Mosaic in the Shape of a Single Hockey Toilet Brush. As they were waving the Brush, we released a Song + Video on the Cleanliness Anthem for Rajkot City. This Human Mosaic has now entered the INDIA BOOK OF RECORDS as the LARGEST HUMAN MOSAIC IN INDIA USING A BRUSH. The Municipal Commissioner of Rajkot Mr. Banchhanidi Pani Handover the certificate to Mr. Rajiv Sanghavi, Director of Borghi India.
We are grateful to our Customer and a leading Brush Manufacturer PHOENIX PLASTECH who provided 950 Single Hockey Brushes Free of Cost to the Children + 150 Single Hockey Brushes to the School Teachers, Organizers and the Guests at the event. Also 200 Brushes have been delivered to Rajkot Municipality for installing one of each in their Public Lavatories. We are also grateful to another Customer and Brush Producer JAY INTERNATIONAL for providing Refreshment to the School Children and the Guests at the event.
BORGHI INDIA will continue to pioneer such events as our main focus is not only to create awareness on cleanliness but also to create a market of Brooms & Brushes in India for the benefit of our Brush Producers. Through such events we promote the idea of using Brushes through the young citizens of India. They will grow up and promote the use of Brushes creating a demand for Brushes which will be unparallel to any other publicity medium. We look for continuous support from our customers and we promise to deliver more than what we promise to them.
